Did You Know...
Opening Hours Spring 2022
The Spring term started on Monday 10th January but due to reduced staffing, we are currently only open in the mornings (8:00 am to 12:30 pm).
As soon as we can open up again for the afternoons, we will let you know. This our the intended hours as soon as we can manage them...
Breakfast Club - 8:00 to 8:30
Morning Session - 8:30 to 11:30
Lunch Club - 11:30 to 12:30
Afternoon Session - 12:30 to 15:30
Tea Club - 15:30 to 16:00
You can use your government funding towards any session and/or club; we only ask that you select a club for each session to keep them and the nursery viable.
Non-funded periods are £6.00 p/h (Breakfast and Tea Clubs cost just £3.00 as they're 30 minutes long) and we still accept childcare vouchers and tax-free payments.
Staying Safe at Nursery
please maintain a 1.5 metre distance when coming and going to and from the setting
use the alcohol-gel provided; we have enough for everyone
do not come into the setting yourselves - children can be handed over to staff at the main door
try not to bring children's comforters in as they increase risk of infection
any children with a high temperature or new, persistent cough will be sent home
we'll encourage and support children to wash their hands when they arrive at nursery
please talk to your children about the importance of staying safe by cleaning hands, not putting toys in the mouth and coughing into the elbow
if you need to speak to a staff member, please book an appointment and wear a face mask
at the moment we prefer bank transfers over cash payments
children don't have to social distance but adults do, so please try and be aware of this at all times
Government Funding for 2020-2021
If your child was born between 1 April 2018 to 31 August 2018 they will be eligible to receive the Early Years Free Entitlement (E.Y.F.E.) at Sticky Fingers Nursery School from September 2021.
If your child will be two by the 31 August 2021 and you meet the eligibility criteria you can apply now for a September 2021 place with us using the Free Early Education for Two year olds (F.E.E.T.) funding.
Completely Free Funding
We offer the full 30 Hours Extended Entitlement without any top-ups. i.e. you can use as much or as little as you like flexibly* with nothing else to pay! The current 15 Hours Universal Entitlement is still available as is the Free Early Education for Two year olds (F.E.E.T.) scheme.
*3 hour Sessions cannot be booked on their own and must be combined with one of the Clubs.
